About us
The first foal at Granbacka was born in 2002, and the stud name Granbacka was registered in 2006. At present the stud runs on a very small basis due to other priorities (under-graduate studies).
We focus on chestnuts with flaxen mane and tail, to be used in both showing, breeding, riding and driving. Their temperament is top priority and the horses are well handled from day 1. Apart from that, an excellent pedigree is very important, and my horses have several generations of top quality horses behind them, with top placements at shows. All horses I've had have been awarded with mare diploma or gold medals.
The daily care of the horses is taken care of by my parents (you can find their website here) and also by the horse keeper Malin Åhs and her parents Rosmarie and Conny.
